How is America’s Boot Camp different from all the rest of the Boot Camps and fitness programs?
America’s Boot Camp uses a huge variety of exercise principles and techniques. The diversity within this program is amazing.
Can MEN participate in America’s Boot Camp?
YES! One of the primary reasons for the design of America’s Boot Camp is to provide MEN with the ability to participate in an incredible fitness program. Men have found their options limited when it comes to local Boot Camp programs, and when co-ed were available to them, the programs failed to meet their fitness needs. America’s Boot Camp addresses this problem and provides all men with a program that will meet and exceed their needs, while providing women with a workout program beyond their wildest expectations!

What kinds of people attend America’s Boot Camp?
All kinds of healthy individuals can participate in America’s Boot Camp. This is a strenuous exercise program, so good health is required. Heavy lifting and heavy breathing are expected, as are great results.
Men – This program was developed to fill the void of great fitness programs available for you. All your needs are addressed from strength, to endurance, to fat loss and weight loss, to a program that you can truly sink your teeth into!
Women – This is not the Adventure Boot Camp program, but rather a more powerful and demanding program for those wishing to step it up a notch and learn lots of great new techniques and further their physical development with strength, agility and great curves!

What do I need to bring to America’s Boot Camp?
Simple…bring your water bottle and towel, we provide everything else. NOTE: We provide a limited number of kettlebells on a first-come first-serve basis. There are enough to go around, but more advanced campers may wish to have their own bells.

When and where do we meet for camp?
We meet at Edith Morley Park which is located on the border of Campbell and San Jose at 6:30 AM. Click here to get directions to the location.
How long is the camp each day?
Camp will last no more than one hour. Most days we will use the entire hour. Some days the program will end early due to intensity of the day’s events…Simply stated, we are done when the workout is over!
What if it rains?
We may get wet;-) BUT America’s Boot Camp utilizes as much modern technology as possible so you will be informed of an alternate location within 20 minutes of camp’s commencement. Click here to see the latest weather forecasts for the boot camp site.

What is a kettlebell?
A kettlebell is a form of dumbbell, kind of… Imagine a cannonball with a handle on top. Here is a picture: X Kettlebells have been around for a very long time, but have only started to gain in popularity over the past 5, or so, years. Kettlebell training is very different than any other form of exercise with weight. The kettlebell training we use has been established to strengthen the entire core of the body while developing muscles of the spine, abdominals, and shoulder complex. Kettlebells have directly lead to strengthening and correcting pain and issues in the back and shoulders, as well as the rest of the body.

What is Suspension Training?
Suspension training is a newer concept, with the phrase being developed by Fitness Anywhere and their awesome TRX Suspension Trainer. Think of the rings used in gymnastics, only not suspended so high. Now imagine doing pushups, rows, or lunges with them! Suspension training develops not only the major muscles, but also the supporting muscles due to the ability for 360 degrees of rotation from the pivot point above the unit! Is it just a program with kettlebells and TRX?
Oh no, not by a long-shot! These are 2 of the pillars of the program, but there is so much more. Let’s use the analogy of filling a jar up with STUFF…the stuff is all of the exercise principles you use to create your body and fitness level. So the first thing to do is grab some big pieces to put into the jar, say rocks. The rocks are your base for filling up the jar. Say you fit 2, 3, or 4 big rocks into the jar: kettlebells, TRX, and another one or two. Then you add some gravel to fill up the rest, this would be some solid components to your program, but not the majority. Now fill in the smaller space with sand, this would be other important components of the program, but just for support of the others. Now what can we do? Now take up the rest of the space with even smaller pieces of the puzzle to create a perfect balance…like filling the rest of the space in the jar with water. Now the jar is full and you have a complete program…you have America’s Boot Camp!

What about Diet?
Diet is actually going to be one of the components we fill the jar with. Your diet is the fuel for your body and thus your workout and recovery. Diet is the big rock that the jar sits on! (If you do not get this, read the previous question;-) America’s Boot Camp provides our clients with the tools to achieve dietary success. All campers will have access to our revolutionary nutrition tracking system, guidelines for success online, and full video presentations about how to reach your goals weather those goals be general fitness, weight loss, fat loss, muscle gain, or whatever! America’s Boot Camp gives you the tools, you must use them for success!
Is there a refund policy?
If you are unable to attend camp due to circumstances out of your control, we can offer you a refund if you notify us prior to your session start date. However, we will charge a $50.00 cancellation fee. If we are notified after your session begins, we can only give you a credit towards another boot camp. This credit is nontransferable. There is no cash refund. This is not negotiable.
What is a typical day of America’s Boot Camp like?
Campers arrive early and grab their kettlebells and get ready to workout. The group warms up and then sets up for the workout of the day. We have a full compliment of equipment in the America’s Boot Camp trailer, along with the day’s program highlights posted inside every morning. Part of the workout is the setup and breakdown of the days program, which is often a workout in itself! A cool down program will wrap up every day and get you ready to go!
Are there options for the number of days I participate in America’s Boot Camp?
No, this is a 4 day per week program which meets at 6:30 AM on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday for a period of 4 weeks. The program is designed to achieve great results. Your off days will also have a program for you to complete…so this is a full 4 week program! Expect great results!
